Community Involvement

The goal of the Presidio Homes Community Involvement Program is to positively impact people’s lives in the communities where we live and work. We do this by taking action, volunteering, inspiring philanthropy, and promoting God’s love of people both inside and outside our company. By doing this, we have achieved:

• $100,000 contributed to rebuilding Children’s facilities
• $10,000 scholarship awarded to a senior high school student going into a construction vocation
• Wooden Cross Organization formed
• $67,000 in donations for:
• Relief Housing Program for Katrina Victims
  • Housed 100 people for 2 to 3 months
  • Provided food, shelter, clothing
• Providing supplies to Katrina Victims in New Orleans
• Provided for 30 people directly after Katrina
  • Took families to Wal-Mart and purchased items they would need
• Christmas Presents for 125 children (screening process)
• Created a $200,000 Home Fund for Katrina victims allowing a 10 to 15% discount off a Presidio Home
• Funded Vacation Bible School for 150 to 205 children
